    Dale's two books have both been extended best sellers. His recent book, The Scenic Geology of Alberta: A Roadside Touring and Hiking Guide, has topped the best seller lists across the province since it came out in April. Dale’s first book Rocks, Ridges, and Rivers: Geological Wonders of Banff, Yoho, and Jasper National Parks was highly successful.

    Dale Leckie has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geography and Ph.D. in Geology. He is a geologist who worked at the Geological Survey of Canada and as chief geologist in a large Canadian energy company. He has edited numerous books and published widely on the geology of western Canada. He is adjunct professor in the Geoscience Department at University of Calgary. Dale is recognized for his long-term contributions to geology and is an honorary member of Society for Sedimentary Geology (SEPM) and Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG).

    In a region of Alberta where tradition meets innovations, Lethbridge-based Jazz collective Midnight Channel is inspired by both classic free jazz pioneers and modern jazz icons. Their blend creates a sound unique to Southern Alberta.

    Forming in 2022, Midnight channel began eetween friends as an accompaniment to the beautiful landscape of the Nikko Yuko Japanes gardens, but have since showcased their music around Alberta. Their compositions are intricate yet spontaneous, reflecting the essence of free jazz where the boundaries of traditional structure are shattered, giving way to raw, unfiltered expression.

    Canadian singer/songwriter Tyson Ray Borsboom creates intricate portraits of love and life in the modern world using little more than his trusted acoustic guitar for accompaniment. His inspired tales of loss and redemption bring to mind great northern poets like Gregory Alan Isakov, Donovan Woods and Justin Vernon.It is only a matter of time before his charisma and storytelling will be noticed on a nation wide scale.

    Teaming up with producer/songwriter/engineer “Phenix Warren” for 2022/2023 projects, Tyson and Phenix have been hard pressed in the studio for most of 2023 creating a new rounded sound for Tyson. Set on finding the perfect blend between Bon Iver and Zach Bryan, Gregory Alan Isakov and Noah Kahan, Dermot Kennedy and Colter Wall. The balance between soothing coffee shop swells and charismatic fun loving folk-country has been their goal from the start. With plans for a month long west coast tour in fall of 2024, you’ll be seeing a lot more of Tyson Ray Borsboom and friends in the near future!

    Cody Hall is a singer/songwriter based in Lethbridge Alberta. Cody’s lyrics are thoughtful, and his voice is jam packed with emotion. Described as “prolific country” the Country/Folk artist has infused his heart and soul into his tracks, showing off his vocal prowess and incredible song writing abilities along the way. Cody Hall’s lyrics tell relatable and uplifting stories for listeners to lay back and feel at ease while singing along. His soothing and twangy vocals guide us along through his tales, as comforting and uplifting soundscape radiates Country flare.

    Cody’s second album, “Peaks and Valleys” features Alberta Sky... a song in the soundtrack to the movie February’s Dog and his song “The Dark” hit the regular rotation on SiriusXM CBC Country and several Alberta stations. The Dark also reached #1 on the Canadian Independent Country Countdown! His latest release “One of Them Boys”, which made it to #2 on the CICC, is a song that begs to be played on repeat and tells a story of a guy who is just a little different from the rest!
